I am a freelance graphic designer whose passion is to see beauty and simplicity converge to communicate compelling messages.

As an Advertising and Public Relations major, I had to take one introductory design class to satisfy my degree requirements. This intro class was by far the most frustrating and difficult of my college career (and I cried the tears to prove it), but, it ended up being the most rewarding and satisfying. This class ignited a new passion and purpose. Faced with blank artboards in Illustrator and a task to communicate a clear and unique message, an artist emerged inside me.

Since I took that initial graphic design class in 2008, I have designed for various schools, businesses, organizations and churches. I also currently co-own and design for the Words Worth Noting Etsy shop with my dear friend and lettering extraordinaire, Lauren Weir. At Words Worth Noting, I get to create home art and Bible study tools oozing with watercolor florals and farmhouse rustic charm. (Click here to check it out. You’ll love it!)

Michael and I live in Raleigh with our sweet daughter Amelia. We love really good coffee from hipster coffee shops, dance parties in the living room, singing loudly in the car, and serving our church. If you need me, most days, you will find me working from my home office. darting to and from preschool or the grocery store. And most likely, I’ll be dressed for success (with a PB&J stain on the pant leg) with a coffee in hand and a 3 year old in tow.
I’d love to meet you!
